Guide to a more sustainable wardrobe

We know it can be difficult to know where to start. If you would like to have a more conscious wardrobe, here are a few tips from us:

  1. Do your research

    Take your time to read about the products to know what they're made of and where they come from. Thorough certifications can guarantee for different aspects of the production.

  2. Choose well

    Buy garments that you like, that combine well with the rest of your wardrobe, that are of high quality and that you think you'll wear a lot!

  3. Take care

    Avoid washing your wool garments. Wool has an amazing ability to cleanse itself when left to air. Let your wool garments "rest" for a day or two in between use for the fibres to recover their natural abilities. Washing only the stain or dirty part instead of the whole garment, will keep your wool nicer and last much longer! The quicker you are to remove the stain, the easier as it will be less absorbed into the fibres.

  1. Repair your garments when you can

    Again, the sooner you repair the smaller the damage. Try yourself and your reward will be the amazing feeling of having saved a garment, or ask for help!

  1. Buy less

    An environmental production that also considers the welfare of people and animals costs more. However, if you choose well and buy less, you'll see that the total cost for you doesn't have to be higher. Choosing consciously and taking care of your garments will also make you love your garments more. And loved garments last longer. Win, win!

Let's sum it up with Vivienne Westwood's famous words;

Buy less

Choose well,

Make it last.

Best of luck!
